异步/同步 Class

A class that does not have a scheduled day(s) and time(s) is considered 异步.  异步 classes allow students to complete their work on their own schedule.  Instructors provide materials, 讲座, 测试, assignments and due dates that can be accessed at any time.  Students may be given a time frame during which they may need to connect with the instructor. A class that is scheduled for set day(s) and time(s) is considered 同步. 同步 classes allow students and instructors to meet in real-time.  Instructors provide 讲座, 讨论, and presentations at the scheduled time and students are required to attend during that time to participate in the class.

网络类

An internet class is a class that is offered online. They can be identified by their section number, which begins with a 4 and by their location, 也就是互联网.

混合类

A Hybrid class integrates online with traditional face to face activities in a planned, pedagogically viable manner. A minimum of one third and a maximum of two thirds of the class is taught online. There are three types of hybrid class combinations: face to face with online, face-to-face with off-campus, and face-to-face with televised. Hybrid classes can be identified by their section number, which begins with a 3 and by the footnote 28.

Alternative 指令 Class

An Alternative 指令 class is only taught during social distancing mandate such as in response to a pandemic.  It may include general alternative teaching methods that comply with public health guidelines while achieving course learning outcomes, such as face-to-face instruction consistent with CDC guidelines, distance synchronous or asynchronous instruction, 或者是这些的组合.

Consult the course description in the current 大学目录 for course prerequisite(s). If a class requires a prerequisite it will also be noted on the section details as a Course Attribute on My基督教社会联盟DH.

共同要求或共同要求

Co-requisite courses require enrollment in both the lecture section and associated activity, 实验室, 生产, 临床, or supervision component/生产 of the course or, 在某些情况下, enrollment in another course. The system prompts you enrollment in the co-req class when one is required. If a specific co-req is listed in the section details as Class Notes on My基督教社会联盟DH, the student must enroll in that specific co-req section. Refer to the course description in the current 大学目录 co-requisite(年代).
