是什么 开放大学 它对你有什么用呢?

通过开放大学项目, run through the 基督教社会联盟DH 继续教育学院 和 Professional Education, 高中毕业生, 工作的成年人, 学生 from other universities may enroll in most regular 基督教社会联盟DH credit courses on a space-available basis with permission of the instructor. There is no formal admission to the University required 和 registration is easy. High school 学生 who are rising juniors 和 above can take lower-division courses with the permission of their high school counselor 和 principal.

If you missed the deadline for application at 基督教社会联盟DH or any other 基督教社会联盟 campus you can begin taking classes right away through 开放大学! 晚些时候, 一旦你被大学录取, you can transfer your 开放大学 classes into 基督教社会联盟DH or another university.

开放大学 makes regular 基督教社会联盟DH credit courses available to 学生 who are not admitted to 基督教社会联盟DH.

开放大学 is available during the fall 和 spring semesters, non-基督教社会联盟DH 学生 may also take courses through 暑期班，期间 冬季会议 和 可能Intersession.

Through 开放大学, you can pursue a degree or take courses to help you advance in your career.

费用
If you have not earned your bachelor's degree, the cost for 开放大学 is 本科课程每单元311元. 如果你获得了学士学位， the cost is $369/unit for undergraduate 和 graduate courses.

注意: some masters degree programs may not accept non-matriculated 学生 into their courses. Please check with the academic department before attempting to enroll in masters-level courses.

不幸的是, financial aid/FAFSA is not available for 开放大学 学生. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact the 基督教社会联盟DH 金融援助 department.

  3. Find the name of your instructor in the class schedule, 在校园通讯录里查一下他们的电子邮件, email the instructor requesting permission to take the class through 开放大学. 越早做越好. If there is no instructor listed, or you 不能 get in touch with the instructor, please 联系部门.

    注意: If you are attempting to take nursing classes, please contact Jackie McKenzie at jmckenzie@basilinfracon.com 开始这个过程. Nursing classes require departmental approval.
  4. Once you have received the email permission, forward the email, along with a completed 开放大学 Registration Form PDF, to ceereg@basilinfracon.com.

  5. Call the 继续教育学院 和 Professional Education (CCPE) Registration Office at 310-243-3741(选项一), to pay the class fee(s) 和 complete your registration. At this time, the registration clerk will check if there are seats available in the class. If there are seats available, you will be registered in the class.

  • Sample a field before formal application to a degree program
  • Take professional development courses without formal enrollment in a degree program
  • Pursue personal interests in the arts, humanities, literature, philosophy 和 many other fields

  • Improve your grade point average if you have been turned down for admission by the university or have been academically disqualified
  • Complete prerequisites for majors or advanced degrees

录取的学生

You may not enroll in the 开放大学 program if you have been admitted to any California State University campus as a regular student for the current semester, or if you are a continuing regular student who registered in the previous semester (academically disqualified 学生 may still enroll in 开放大学).

大学生信用

A 最多24个学期单元 of baccalaureate-level 开放大学 credit may be applied toward bachelor's degree requirements at 加州州立大学，多明格斯山. 开放大学 credit does not qualify as residence units for a degree. The term "in residence" applies to those units earned at 加州州立大学，多明格斯山 while an officially admitted student in a degree program. All classes you take will become part of your permanent academic record at 基督教社会联盟DH.

研究生信贷

For a 30 semester unit master's degree at 加州州立大学，多明格斯山, 学生可申请 不超过9个单位 of 开放大学 credit 和/or credit transferred from other accredited institutions.
